Faith Legacy Journals

Leave a Legacy of Faith through Journaling

Sharing with future generations can be achieved by keeping journals that focus on your spiritual journey.

Yes, you can write using apps and programs tied to whatever the latest technology offers. Yet even the most up to day tool is soon obsolete! But a written journal can be passed on to future generations. They can hold a journal in their hands and they can read its content.

Tell Your Story through Journals

Journaling is the closest method that we can use to tell the miracles of God, one generation to another.

By journaling you can fulfill what Psalms 78 instructs regarding future generations:

Psalms 78:3-7 ERV (3) We have heard the story, and we know it well. Our fathers told it to us.(4) And we will not forget it. Our people will be telling this story to the last generation. We will all praise the LORD and tell about the amazing things he did.(5) He made an agreement with Jacob. He gave the law to Israel. He gave the commands to our ancestors. He told them to teach the law to their children.(6) Then the next generation, even the children not yet born, would learn the law. And they would be able to teach it to their own children.(7) So they would all trust in God, never forgetting what he had done and always obeying his commands.

Tell Your Story through Faith Legacy Journals

Journaling taps the power of personal story. In fact it's God's mandate that we tell our faith stories to the next generation.

There is so much we don't know about those closest to us and that will be lost if not recorded. In fact, many adult children cannot tell how their parents came to faith in Christ.

That means we need to creatively capture the faith stories for future generations.

Impacting Coming Generations with Our Faith Stories

Even if the next generation rejects the faith of their parents, a journal can be passed on to generations that will follow. Perhaps your journals will be the means God uses to bring them to faith in Jesus, accepting Him as their Lord and Savior!
